BiographyHistory

Sophia Goodwin, wife of William Lushington Goodwin, took over the proprietorship of the Launceston-based Cornwall Chronicle on her husband's death in 1862. Goodwin managed the newspaper until its sale to Robert Harris on 28 June 1869.
