BiographyHistory

Helen Lunn has worked around Australia as a writer, director and performer. Prior to becoming a freelance worker in 1995 she was co-artistic director of Polyglot Theatre in Melbourne, where she wrote nine plays for the company, including Tadpole, Oddsocks and Snores (which was nominated for an AWGIE - Australian Writers' Guild Awards - in 1996), Little Moments and Digger's Mate. Helen has also written for Patch Theatre in Adelaide and Company Skylark in Canberra.

Helen's three children's picture books were written for the Royal Children's Hospital Safety Centre in Melbourne. The books were published by Scholastic and the stories were based on the prize winners in a competition sponsored by Esso Australia.
