BiographyHistory

William Aikenhead is the son of James Aikenhead. William Aikenhead was born in Launceston, Van Diemen's Land sometime after 1840 and took over his father's interest in the Launceston Examiner in 1869. He continued to publish the paper with Henry Button until 1887.
