BiographyHistory

Maude Smith lived most of her life in Melbourne, but when she was young she lived at Barmah, on the Murray River in Victoria. After travelling with her family to places such as Griffith, they moved to Condobolin, New South Wales where she spent most of her teenage years. When she left home she moved to Yass, New South Wales and married her first husband Arthur McGuiness and had five children. It was in Melbourne that she married her second husband Andy Smith and had another five children.
