BiographyHistory

Dr Peta Mitchell holds a PhD from The University of Queensland, and has lectured in Writing in the School of English, Media Studies, and Art History at The University of Queensland. She later moved to QUT, where she was a Senior Research Fellow in the Creative Industries Faculty.

In addition to works individually indexed on AustLit, she has published the following books:

  • Cartographic Strategies of Postmodernity : The Figure of the Map in Contemporary Theory and Fiction (2008).
  • Contagious Metaphor (2012).
