Television and film scriptwriter Andrew Knight set up Artists Services in 1989 with Steve Vizard as a production company for their television comedy series Fast Forward and television program Tonight Live. Knight also wrote, with Max Dann, the films Spotswood and Siam Sunset and a television series for children, Worst Best Friends, based on Dann's books Adventures With My Worst Best Friend, Going Bananas, and Dusting in Love.
With Deb Cox, he wrote the popular television series SeaChange. His work also includes television series Kangaroo Palace, After the Deluge, and Tripping Over. He published Dying to Know (2007), a book about coping with death, co-authored with Andrew Anastasios .
