Sara D. Schotland has been adjunct professor of law and literature at Georgetown University Law Center and at the Honors College of the University of Maryland, where she taught slavery studies, a seminar on the death penalty and literature, and other courses. She has a BA from Harvard University and a JD and an MA in English Literature from Georgetown University.
