BiographyHistory

Joseph Orton Bragg was periodically incarcerated in the NSW prison system for over 30 years. By 1866, he had formed a friendship with Baptist reformed George Ardill. Ardill sent a copy of Orton Bragg's Confessions of a Thief to Havelock Ellis. Ellis discussed Bragg in detail in the third edition of his book The Criminal.
