BiographyHistory

Kia Groom is a writer, scholar, and editor hailing from Perth, Western Australia.

As of 2014, she was an MFA candidate at the University of New Orleans, as well as teaching introductory English at UNO and working as associate poetry editor for Bayou Magazine.

In 2013, she founded Quaint Magazine (http://www.quaintmagazine.com), a literary quarterly for female-identified and non-binary writers, with a particular focus on giving voice to the strange, the unusual, and the transgressive.
