BiographyHistory

The Institute of Modern Art was founded in 1975. The Queensland organisation is Australia's second oldest contemporary art space.

The organisation runs exhibitions, events, and publishes. They receive funding from Arts Queensland, Australia Council, and The Cultural Fund.

They are a a member of Contemporary Art Organisations Australia (CAOs).
