BiographyHistory

Marcia Jacobs is the daughter of Jacob G. Rosenberg. Jacobs grew up in Melbourne, and in 1977 went to the United States for tertiary study. After completing an MA at New York University and undertaking further graduate studies at Columbia University, she entered the field of editing and worked with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis at Doubleday publishing. In 1993 she returned to Australia to begin a career of teaching at both the secondary and tertiary levels.
