BiographyHistory

Frank Budby is an elder of the Barada people whose traditional country is in the northern Central Highlands of Queensland. A former drover and stockman, more recently he founded a major consultancy business (Woora Consultancies) which employs Barada (and the closely allied Barna) people to manage cultural heritage on the numerous coal mines in their country. Budby lives between Mackay and Nebo in Central Queensland. He is also concerned with the current registered native title claim by Barada Barna people over their traditional country.
