BiographyHistory

Stephen Pham is a Vietnamese-Australian writer from Cabramatta. His work explores life beyond Malaysian refugee camps and '90s gangland suburbia and has been published in Sydney Review of Books, Meanjin, Griffith Review, and Overland.

In 2018, he was a recipient of the NSW Writers' Fellowship, with a view to working on a manuscript called Vietnamatta. Publication of Vietnamatta (a collection of essays on life, race, class, culture, and masculinity in Cabramatta) was announced by Brow Books at the 2019 Frankfurt Book Fair.
