Ailsa Piper 'grew up in Western Australia, and has lived in both Sydney and Melbourne. She has an MA from the University of Melbourne.'
She has worked as 'a writer, theatre director, teacher, radio broadcaster, speaker and actor... and she has been nominated for Green Room awards as director and actor.'
She is the author of both a collection of correspondence and an autobiography.
