BiographyHistory

Storry Walton was 'an early producer of arts programs for ABC-TV, has produced and directed many television plays and serials, including My Brother Jack. He has directed ABC documentaries on art and on rural matters and, while based in London, made programs for the BBC-TV social documentary series, Man Alive. He was Director of the Interim Training Scheme, the precursor to the (then) Australian Film and Television School, of which he was an early director. He has also had a long association with the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) as Chairman of its Academic Board and member of its governing board.'
