Glenda Banks received her PhD in writing by artefact and exegesis from Swinburne University of Technology in 2011. With a background in mainstream media as a journalist, editor and broadcaster she is the author of six nonfiction titles on contemporary issues, a history of health accreditation and a novel in the subgenre of historiographic metafiction with a focus on the 'herstory' of Victoria's mid-19th century goldfields.
