BiographyHistory

'Dan Koop is an artist, producer and project manager based in Melbourne. Creatively, he makes performance works in unusual and public spaces that engage audiences to become participants. Professionally, he has worked for contemporary multi-artform venues and festivals. He will studied for a Masters of Public Art at RMIT University in 2012.

From 2005-10 Dan was a Project Manager for the 2010 Sydney Festival, a Producer at Brisbane Powerhouse where he contributed to the creation of the World Theatre Festival and was an Assistant Producer at BAC (London) that including working on the immersive site-specific BAC/Punchdrunk Theatre co-production "The Masque of the Red Death."

In 2012, Koop was the producer for Theatre Works' program of intimate performance workshops, residencies and performances in public space that will take place around St Kilda in December 2012.' Source: www.dankoop.net (Sighted 17/05/2012).
