Malaysian publishing company MPH has its origins back in the 1890 founding of Amelia Bishop Press by Captain W. G. Shellabear in Singapore. It was subsequently renamed numerous times, with names including American Mission Press, Methodist Publishing House, Malaya Publishing House and Malaysia Publishing House. (Source: MPH website.)
