Television script-writer.

Meg Mappin began working in television in the late 1990s. Prior to this, she completed two play scripts: Double Storeys was presented as a play reading at La Mama, Melbourne, and Mappin presented a reading of I Started Stealing Biscuits (by invitation) at the Second International Conference of Women Playwrights (Toronto, Canada). In 2004, she wrote for both McLeod's Daughters and Stingers; for the latter, she was also script editor.

Mappin has written for a wide range of children's television programs, including Driven Crazy, Pig's Breakfast, Li'l Horrors, The Sleepover Club, Pirate Islands, Silversun, and Parallax.
