'Mark Ellis is deputy arts editor for The Age. Prior to this role, Mark was editor of the employment section, My Career, for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. Before joining The Age his freelance pieces appeared in Good Weekend magazine and on The Age's opinion page. In 2003 he became a layout sub for the paper's weekly sections and served as Epicure's production editor for several years. He continues to write regularly for the Green Guide and The Sunday Age.'
