BiographyHistory

Patricia Page moved from Brisbane to Sydney and then to the South Pacific where her father, Ernest Thomsett, worked for W. R. Carpenters and then ran copra plantations. She lived in Fiji from 1941 to 1948. The family then moved back to Australia, afterwards to New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Page graduated from the University of Sydney and worked as a librarian, social worker, teacher and researcher. She made two trips to Europe and has lived in Paris, working for the national shipping line and raising a family.
