'Jimmy Fejo is a Larrakia man, and the eldest son of a large family. He grew up at Bagot Reserve, in Darwin, until moving to the family homelands at Acacia in 1984. He is singer-songwriter, and continues to fight to protect Larrakia cultural heritage sites in Darwin. He is also a bush mechanic.' (Source: Southerly 71.2 p. 245)
