BiographyHistory

Charles Turnbull Harrisson was a biologist and artist with the Western Party of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition 1911-1913.

Harrisson kept a diary during his time with the Antartic Expedition which was edited and published in 2011.

Harrisson was assumed lost with all hands on the Australian Government's fisheries research vessel, 'Endeavour', on the ship's return to Tasmania from a supply mission to Macquarie Island in 1914.
