BiographyHistory

Actor and Singer, Teacher, Director, Choreographer and Playwright. Tessa Bremner co-founded the South Australian based company Co-Opera. She received a master of Creative Arts at Woolongong University, New South Wales.

The Dark Side of Midnight 2011 single work drama 'The Dark Side of Midnight is concerned with the themes of racism and fear of change. The action takes place in 1947 on the Northwest Frontier of India on the eve of partition, and in Sussex, England, in 1967. The play is based on letters and journals of [the author's] parent's experiences in India, which were researched and sourced from Cambridge University and the British Library ... during a two week study trip in June 2009.'
