BiographyHistory

'Lee Buddle is a composer and performer of music in many styles and on many instruments. He performs professionally on most instruments of the woodwind family in many ensembles including Pi, Nova Ensemble, The Collective, West Australian, Malaysian and Singapore Symphony Orchestras, Perth Jazz Orchestra, Rich'n'Famous, Black Swan and Deck Chair Theatre. He has toured to Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and throughout Australia.

Buddle has performed in many music theatre productions such as "Boy From Oz", "Singin' In The Rain", "Dirty Dancing", "42nd Street", "Shout", "Hot Shoe Shuffle", and "Porgy And Bess" and has backed many well-known artists such as Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Jerry Lewis, Don Burrows, Little River Band, Manhattan Transfer and James Morrison.

As a composer he has written new music for many theatrical and dance productions for companies such as Chrissie Parrott Dance Company, Deck Chair Theatre Company, Buzz Dance Theatre, Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, Nova Ensemble and Pi.' Source: http://shimmerheat.com.au/ (Sighted 11/10/11).
