BiographyHistory

Associate Professor Denise Varney was the the foundation coordinator of Theatre Studies, School of Creative Arts, at The University of Melbourne. From 2001 to 2006, Varney was coordinator of Creative Arts Research and, in 2008, joined the English/Theatre Studies program.

In 2011, Varney was The University of Melbourne's Head of English and Theatre Studies, and Deputy Head of the School of Culture and Communication.
