Colette Keen lectured in Performance and English at Charles Sturt University, Bathurst, New South Wales. Her work Windows on the World was chosen from 1000 entries to be read as part of a new play development program by The Blank Theatre Company, a company based in Hollywood, California, United States of America. Material for Windows on the World was gathered while Keen was studying for a Masters in performance ethnography, the study of creating theatrical representations of what is discovered through participant-observation fieldwork.
