BiographyHistory

Keter Publishing House, established in Israel in 1958, publishes original and translated literary fiction and non-fiction, alongside guides and general trade books, children's books and multi-volume encyclopedias. It has published over three thousand book since it began its operation.
Keter is also the country's largest book distributor. In 2005 it joined forces with Steimatzky, another veteran Israeli publishing group to the Keter Books imprint.
