BiographyHistory

An American gaming and book publisher, White Wolf Publishing was established in 1991 by Mark Rein-Hagen (of Lion Rampant) and Steve and Stewart Wieck (White Wolf Magazine) following the merger of their respective companies. In 2006 White Wolf was acquired by CCP Games hf, and is now that company's publishing division.

White Wolf Publications is recognised internationally for its attempts to stretch the artistic and entertainment boundaries of horror, science fiction and fantasy genres. Initially starting out as an originator of roleplaying games, it later ventured into mass-market fiction publishing and then the electronic entertainment industry.

Among the company's best known roleplaying games, produced through White Wolf Game Studio, are the award-winning games Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, World of Darkness and Exalted.
