1 Daikaijuzine Richard S. Crawford (editor), Richard S. Crawford (publisher), 2006 periodical fantasy horror science fiction (1 issues)

Daikaijuzine is a webzine dedicated to high-quality speculative fiction: science fiction, fantasy, and horror. It also occasionally publishes mainstream fiction. In his first editorial (sub-titled 'Neutral Ground in the Genre Wars'), editor Richard S. Crawford specified that his intention was 'to create a single place where readers could find top quality speculative fiction. I didn't want to limit it to science fiction or to fantasy; I wanted writers to feel like they could contribute anything.'

Rather than having 'volumes' and 'issues', Daikaijuzine describes itself in computer-programming language, with quarterly 'releases' and monthly 'patches'. All material for a single release, including the patches, is then archived in a single table of contents, a pattern of publication that occasionally obscures the original publication date of individual stories.
