BiographyHistory

'Val Donovan is a professional historian who retired from the public sector in 2004, having worked for nearly nine years in the native title land claims area. In 2001 she was seconded to complete two publication projects on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history for Queensland Heritage Trails Network in Arts Queensland. These projects formed the Queensland Government's contribution to reconciliation as a part of the Centenary of Federation celebrations.
