'The Charitable Foundation for Books in Homes Australia is a registered not-for-profit organisation that helps underpriviledged children improve their literacy skills and develop and maintain a love for reading. Ultimately, these skills will broaden their opportunities later in life.
'Books in Homes has two programmes - 0-3 Programme and Primary Programme - that support literacy development for Australian children. [From 2001 to 2010], Books in Homes has distributed in excess of 900,000 new books to over 150,000 disadvantaged youth from more than 280 communities and schools across Australia.'
