BiographyHistory

Edward Munro lived in the United Kingdom and at age 17 abandoned the idea of becoming an engineer to move to Australia. He and his brother Chris travelled to Victoria where they worked on farms in Gippsland. They both moved to Queensland in 1915. Edward Munro, along with his brothers and father enlisted in the AIF on 1 August, 1916.
