BiographyHistory

Deborah Masel worked as a journalist in Australia before moving to Israel, where she was a foreign correspondent based in Jerusalem from 1981 to 1991. She then made her home in Melbourne. Masel was a member of the editorial committee of Generation: A Journal of Australian Jewish Life, Thought and Community.

In addition to works individually indexed on AustLit, Deborah Masel also wrote a range of theological texts.
