Lindsay Coleman has studied for a doctorate at the University of Melbourne. He has contributed journal articles to Film and History, Post Script, Illusions, Lava, The Big Picture, and Senses of Cinema and published book chapters in The War Body On Screen (Continuum, 2008), Gilmore Girls and the Politics of Identity (McFarland, 2008), and Taking South Park Seriously (SUNY, 2008).
