BiographyHistory

Educated at Great Barr Comprehensive, Birmingham (1979-84), Stephen Clark's decision to become a publisher of horror fiction originates back to the late 1980s, when he began scouring secondhand bookstores for back catalogues of the genre's better-known authors. After a while, he began to take an interest in lesser-known writers who demonstrated talent but whose books were gathering dust on back shelves or in publishers' back catalogues. As his interest turned towards serious collection, Clark also began to experiment with writing his own stories, some of which were successfully published by small-press magazines.

In 2007, Clark decided to turn his hand to publishing and set up Tasmaniac Publications. He is also a member of the Australian Horror Writers Association.
