BiographyHistory

'Sharon Boyce is an academic who works part-time in teacher education at the University of Southern Queensland. She also works with a number of students across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs who have learning difficulties. Sharon helps run a consultancy business, "Discovering DisAbility & Diversity", which has as its major focus disability, equity and social justice and empowerment. The consultancy specialises in training with schools, retail and private clients and it aims to encourage, motivate and help people understand disability and encourage equity in all things.

Sharon Boyce has lived in Toowoomba in Southern Queensland all her life. Sharon spends most of her life in an electric wheelchair, after developing severe Rheumatoid Arthritis when she was eleven years old.'
