BiographyHistory

Television script-writer Ysabelle Dean began writing scripts for soap operas, including Sons and Daughters, Return to Eden, Neighbours, and Chances. She has also written for a number of children's television programs, including Kelly, Ship to Shore, Chuck Finn, Fast Tracks, and Guinevere Jones. More recently, she has focused on adult dramas and soap operas, including Always Greener, McLeod's Daughters, Home and Away, Blue Heelers, Bed of Roses, and Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.

Her film scripts include the 1990 film The Rogue Stallion.

Dean has also worked as a script producer (for Wormwood), script consultant (for Blue Heelers), and script editor (for SeaChange and Neighbours).
