'Terrizita Corpus is descended from the local Yawuru people of Broome. Having worked as an Aboriginal Teaching Assistant for many years, Terrizita took a great interest in literature and educational tools for children. Following her involvement with early childhood literacy programmes in Broome, Terrizita decided to write books that could be used in such programmes.' (Source : Magabala Books website)
