BiographyHistory

Alison Huber completed her PhD in cultural studies at the University of Melbourne where she was honorary fellow. Her work has appeared in the journals Perfect Beat, Altitude and International Journal of Cultural Studies, and the book Sounds of Then, Sounds of Now: Popular Music in Australia (2008).

She has also worked as a bookseller and book buyer for various Melbourne bookstores.
