BiographyHistory

Phillip Scott began his theatrical career in the 1970s as musical director of shows such as Tarantara! Tarantara!, Tomfoolery and The Rocky Horror Show. He has worked as a musician, actor, composer and television comedy writer. His ABC TV comedy credits (as actor and writer) include The Gillies Report, The Dingo Principle and The Big Gig. He has also been on the writing team of Good News Week, and co-creator of such satirical reviews as Three Men and a Baby Grand (with Jonathan Biggins, Drew Forsythe, Terry Bader, Peter Carroll and Genevieve Lemon), Abroad with Two Men (with Jonathan Biggins and Linda Nagle) and The End of the Wharf as We Know It. he also collaborated with Luke Hardy on the play Safety in Numbers (1982).
