BiographyHistory

Michael Williams completed an honours degree in Architecture at Sheffield University. In Western Australia, he was employed by the Public Works Department until his retirement as Senior Architect (Schools) in 1980. After his retirement he published poetry in Australian, Japanese and Italian journals, anthologies and newspapers. He has served as National and State President of the Oral History Association of Australia and has been appointed a Fellow of the Fellowship of Australian Writers (FAW). He has explored the bilingual opportunities of writing about the Italian community.
