For most of his working life, Michael Cooper was a contract labourer and suppressed the urge to write. He quit the labour force and dedicated himself to writing. Cooper completed a serialised novel, self-published on-line over the space of a year, compressing twenty years of material into short chapters with self-imposed deadlines.
