BiographyHistory

Jabez King Heydon was a printer, journalist and businessman. During the 1840s and 1850s he was a prominent and often controversial figure within Sydney politics and journalism. He was also active within the Catholic Church, and during his period as editor and proprietor of the Freeman's Journal, was deeply embroiled in local Church politics.
