BiographyHistory

Michael D'Arcy, the nephew of Archdeacon John McEncroe, was at various times the editor of the Morning Chronicle, (formerly the Australasian Chronicle), and the Freeman's Journal. He subsequently joined the New South Wales Customs Department, then headed by William Duncan, (q.v.).
