BiographyHistory

Greek-Australian Luka Haralampou grew up in Brisbane. His talents extend to performance poetry, rap, hip hop, political activism, community arts engagement and university teaching.

Haralampou graduated with an Arts degree in Brisbane before completing his Masters in Indigenous Studies at Monash University's Centre for Indigenous Studies. He later became an assistant lecturer in Indigenous Studies at the Centre.

Haralampou has competed in poetry slams. He was a finalist in the Victorian section of the 2010 Australian Poetry Slam and won both the Overload Poetry Slam (Melbourne) and the Melbourne Poetry Festival Poetry Slam in 2010.
