BiographyHistory

Fiona Hile has studied and taught Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. Her short stories have been published in Australia, Canada and the United States. Her novel-in-progress was short-listed for the Varuna/Harper Collins manuscript development program.

Hile was the recipient of the Ian Potter Cultural Trust Travelling Grant in 2000, The Felix Myer Scholarship for Literature in 2001, an Australian Postgraduate Award (PhD) 2002-2005, and an Arts Victoria Literature Development Grant in 2004.
