BiographyHistory

'Bertha Batley' was the pseudonym of Bertha Emily Sampson. Under her married name of Bertha E. Phelps she wrote An Australian Tells England [1935] about early Australia, and also the words and music of In Songs of Gladness : An Australian Anthem.
