John Gonzalez completed his PhD in History in 1996 at the University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, where he has held various positions since 1981. He has also held the position of Director of the Rozhkov Historical Research Centre in Australia. Gonzalez has written numerous articles and has presented conference and seminar papers on Russian, European, and Australian history.
