BiographyHistory

'Tim Causer has worked as Senior Research Associate at the Bentham Project in UCL’s Faculty of Laws. He is a historian of convict transportation, and his research has focused upon the infamous penal station at Norfolk Island (1825–55). He was formerly the co-ordinator of the award-winning Transcribe Bentham initiative, and—in a project funded by the AHRC has worked on  investigating and editing Bentham’s writings on transportation, Australia, and colonialism. He has also been the editor of the Journal of Bentham Studies.' (Source ULC Press Website)
